Phil Di Giorgio has over 30 years of legal experience. Phil is the Founding Member of the DiGiorgio Law Firm, PLLC, located at 258 Genesee St., Utica, NY and concentrates his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, Special Needs Planning, High End Tax Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, the Taxation of Estates, Trusts and Gifts and Business Planning.
Prior to founding the DiGiorgio Law Firm, Phil was as co-founder & Managing Partner of Pierro & DiGiorgio, LLC.
Before entering private practice Phil served as an Estate and Gift Tax Attorney for the Internal Revenue Service from 1991-1999.
Phil is a member of the New York State Bar Association and its Trusts and Estates Section and has served as Vice Chair of the Section’s Estate Planning Committee. He is also a member of the Association’s Elder Law & Special Needs Section, the Oneida County Bar Association and the Estate Planning Council of Central, NY.
Phil has written and lectured extensively in the practice areas of Trusts, Estates and Elder Law.
Phil is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and Albany Law School of Union University. Phil was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1991 and is licensed to practice before all New York State Courts.
